sure looks like a semi-interesting lineup
are sessions recorded? i.e. video or audio? will they be available
freely, online?
if i were going, these sessions automatically spring to be pretty
interesting:
* Legal issues impacting the use of open source software in health care
GK Ganesan Malaysia
* Hemotology Lab System: A Live Case Study Boh Heong Yap Malaysia
(this is the kind of thing that should be pimped on the foss websites,
to ensure that people in m'sia know foss is being widely used)
* A Computerized Data Visualization Tool for Medical Data Analysis: A
Case Study on Acute Stroke Chee Peng Lim Malaysia
* Why Use Postgresql for your next database-driven application? (And
MySQL) Paolo Alexis Falcone (& Miguel Vega) Philippines
day 3 also has an interesting panel on the trends in healthcare
informatics. proprietary vs. foss, yes? :-)
why no mention of primacare? its a hallmark malaysian-created
application, that even won an award sometime back
> So, set aside the date in your calendar and apply for leave or ponteng. :-)
with a lot of doctors around, i'm sure the latter will be pretty easy to
do, huh? instead of rm20 for a medical leave chit, its free :P
