Since 2001 I have asked people who would like to create their own distro a
simple question:
What are the features of your distro that make it different from other
distro?
If you just taking Ubuntu and throw in "Live/Installation CD, finely tuned
desktop based on KDE, fuse NTFS, WiFi support, bundled with a popular
software", I can do it with Ubuntu/Kubuntu as well. So, what is the point of
your distro?
Easy to install software? Linspire CNR is available for Ubuntu. Synaptic is
easy enough.
Not that I don't want to support local company/people, but if you are
reinventing the wheel, or coating the wheel in something shiny to be sold, I
might as well use a Free, Open and proven wheel available in the market.
I'm using Debian, it is the base of Ubuntu.
