Ive noticed that quite a few of us have already signed up!
good stuff..
This certainly is a more civilized approach over the vendor's astroturfing
with templates and spamming ANSI. [
http://www.incits.org/DIS29500/DIS29500.htm ]
We are in contact with the NoOOXML guys and they will provide to us a list
of Malaysians which we can submit to SIRIM.
We need to show SIRIM / DSM that the Malaysian public is well reflected at
SIRIM TC4, with the 9-1 vote AGAINST MSOOXML back in January 2007. Since
then, there has been no improvements to the draft, and yet more
discrepancies are being located by the day!
Please help spread the word! And if you havent signed up yet, please
consider doing so. Remember, your letters which you wrote in support for ODF
back in Oct 06, has been a tremendous help. This is far easier to do, and
its just a web-page away.
yk.
