Hi all,

Was looking for a place to vent my frustrations and decided to post here.

In a nutshell, I partnered with a application development company in a
tender for running the MY govt. OSS initiative. The understanding with the
partner was simple, I provide the OSS expertise to drive the center whilst
they capitalize on up-selling their apps to the MY govt. Simple and
complementary relationship.

I was to provide about 15 FOSS experts and they provide the logistics,
helpdesk and on-site support personnel as well as finance/admin. With OSS
ideas thrown in from me into the project, and an understanding that we are
partners targeting different non-conflicting areas with me driving the
center and they up-selling their applications with OSS, they fronted the
project but only submitted 6 names from my list in July to the
govt....looking back now, they had it in for me....this I only discovered
this week...a 'oh by the way, just to let u know' statement.

They have never been an OSS player and my company has only one objective, to
encourage the wider adoption of OSS in MY and hopefully the region...while
'cari makan'.

Anyone has any thought as to how I should play this out? I am really angry
and frustrated....they are in it for the $$$....nothing else....no passion
and now they are expecting the 6 of us to train their ppl so that they can
take it all....

PC
