On the part of MICROSOFT you mean? I'm not so sure that there are many 
intentional confabulations on their part, to be honest. This is on the basis 
that I very seldom attribute things to malice, those which can be more 
adequately attributed to ignorance or sheer stupidity -- and yes, I am 
referring to MICROSOFT marketing.
