Hi,

Any list members planning to attend FOSS.IN/2006?

I went last year. I had an excellent experience including the
opportunity to personally thank real FOSS contributors like Alan Cox,
Rasmus Lerdorf (php), Jonathan Corbet (LWN), Harald Welte
(Netfilter/IPtables), etc for their contributions to the systems we
all use.

I noticed last year that Western countries were very well represented
both in terms of speakers and sponsoring companies. But participation
by ASEAN was lacking despite the fact that Bangalore is geographically
next door compared to Europe/USA. Not to mention Malaysia's long
historical and cultural links with India. So I hope this year, to see
more of you there.
