Good try. But what's a win-win for them ?
As monopolists, they know all too well that we are depending on them.
They are the saviours of our breath on the Internet. They can treat us
whichever way they want, and we'll probably be sticking to them, at
least the majority.

I am sure that you know the real problem that Streamyx faces: The
serious lack of interest outside the Klang Valley. Lack of subscribers,
lack of infrastructure, lack of bandwidth.
I also think that you are aware of what could solve *their* problem:
Getting an international provider like Murdoch offering IPTV to the
masses. If only, to achieve an Internet penetration rate of a developed
country on numbers. Some vision is looming. Service quality doesn't
count in this game.
Neither does content, origin (of the technology or financial means).

TmNet itself has been around stagnant for the last years. I feel the
waves of change approaching; though I have no clue if there is anything
in my predication. Except of the fact, that the monopolist gains little
through improvements.

Uwe
