Dear all,
The Malaysian National Computer Confederation (MNCC) is organizing an
evening talk on *'***Future Trends and Development of Knowledge
Management' **as part of the series of Evening Talks planned for the
year 2006. Details of the evening talk are as follows:
*Title:** *Future Trends and Development of Knowledge Management**
*Synopsis:* In the past, many organizations and people were driven by
the wrong concepts or primitive KM model. They kick-started their KM
journey by implementing people-driven approaches, simple process-based
models or technology systems such as Portal, Email management, Customer
interactions, Document Management, Collaboration suite, eLearning
(Content Delivery) and so on. Most of these narrow approaches didn't
help organizations meet their expectations. Now organizations and
individuals have started understanding the meaning and value of true
knowledge management.
True KM must address the following three broader categories of KM:
? Personal Knowledge Management
? Community Knowledge Management
? Enterprise Knowledge Management
In the future, you will see more and more innovations and adoption in
the above areas.
Individuals will embrace the Personal KM practices to empower themselves
and to become smarter. Community Network will be powered by Community KM
practices and collaborative knowledge platform. Enterprise KM will
become an integral part of the business processes in various business
functions and industries. This talk on KM will explain it in greater detail.
